Daniel Hill sat down with QuHarrison Terry and I at Project Voice 2020 and had an interesting discussion about how he and his wife use an Alexa Skill to communicate with each other about whether or not their cat has been fed yet, so they don't overfeed the cat.

But this isn't a foolproof system. Because, as Daniel points out, if you forget to use the app, it doesn't work. So he's calling for Alexa Skill builders to use email marketing, social media, and other channels to help people who have downloaded their skills, remember that they have them installed, and remember to use them.

This makes sense, as other apps run into similar issues and have to use effective drip marketing and customer engagement to keep people coming back.
